5K FOR LIFE - Grand Prairie, TX
The event takes place on April 18, 2026 at Mike Lewis Park in Grand Prairie, Texas. It is an annual fundraising 5K that supports the Grand Prairie Pregnancy Resource Center. The center reports more than 30 years of service and outreach to over 43,500 families, and it provides free practical assistance, resources, education, and care for families facing unexpected pregnancies.

The race is a timed event on a flat course. Parking is free. Strollers and wheelchairs are allowed and should start at the back of the field; walkers are permitted and are asked to start toward the rear. There is a one hour course time limit. A bag check area will be available near packet pickup.
Packet and shirt information: there is a pre-packet pickup location at the Grand Prairie Chamber of Commerce, and race day packet pickup is at Mike Lewis Park. The t shirt cutoff is April 3rd. Shirts will not be mailed and exchanges after packet pickup closes are not permitted.
Volunteer roles include aid station staff and course monitors. Awards are given to overall male and female winners and to the top three male and female finishers in standard age groups including 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70-79 plus.
