Footrace for the Fallen
The Footrace for the Fallen is a 5K held in Manchester, New Hampshire with a virtual participation option. The in-person course starts at the Manchester Police Department and finishes inside Gill Stadium. The event date is Sunday, September 27, 2026.
Early bib pick-up is available at the Millennium Running Retail Store (138 Bedford Center Road, Bedford, NH) on the day before the race. Race day bib pick-up is available at the registration tent adjacent to the finish line at Gill Stadium. There is ample city parking near Gill Stadium and city meters are free on Sundays. Dogs are not allowed in the race or in Gill Stadium.
Post-race provisions include water, fresh bananas, and yogurt provided by Stonyfield Organic. Participants aged 21 and over receive a beer ticket redeemable at the post-race beer garden; food and beverages are not permitted on the field.
Awards are presented to the top three overall men and women and the top three male and female in each 5-year age group (12 and under, 13-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34 … 80+). Awards must be claimed at the Awards Tent and will not be mailed.
Virtual participants may complete the event before Monday, September 29, 2026 and can submit results for mileage credit. Virtual entries earn 3.1 miles toward the Elliot Millennium Series Jacket but do not earn Points Chase points. Registration benefits include a race t-shirt for the first 1,000 registrants, a beer ticket for those 21 and over, free race photos, and a finish line video. Free digital race photos are posted after the event and finish line videos are emailed to finishers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
