Footprints Forever 5K and 1 Mile Race : Baton Rouge
The event includes in-person running options and a virtual option held in the Pointe Marie Neighborhood in Baton Rouge, LA. Distances offered:
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 1 Mile Fun Run / Walk
- Virtual Runner (donation option, not in-person)
The event benefits Maddie’s Footprints Greater Baton Rouge, an organization that provides financial and emotional support to families who have experienced miscarriage, stillbirth, or the loss of a child under one year of age. The organization reports having reached over 2,800 families and provided over $1.7 million in financial assistance.

Courses remain within the Pointe Marie Neighborhood and finish at the Town Square. Course tribute signs for lost infants are placed in an angel garden at the beginning of the race as a remembrance feature. Parking is noted at the L'auberge casino parking lot on River Road.
