Folsom Lake Ultras
The Folsom Lake Ultras take place at Magnolia Ranch Trail Head Parking Lot along trails around Folsom Lake. The event offers multiple trail race distances and uses marked single-track and dirt paths with rock sections and minimal pavement. The terrain features rolling hills with frequent ups and downs and typical California spring conditions with daytime highs near 65 degrees and lows near 40 degrees.

Multiple fully stocked aid stations are placed on course and remain open until the last runner arrives; runners who do not meet cutoffs may be transported back to the start. Cutoff rules include a 10 hour limit for the marathon and 50K and a 22 hour limit for 50M and 100K, with enforcement noted. Course marking uses colored ribbons, wooden stakes with distance and direction signs, and gypsum markings on the ground. Toilets are available on a first-come, first-served basis at several aid stations.
Race logistics include day-of packet pick-up and a morning drop bag service that delivers to on-course aid stations and returns bags to the finish. Pacers are permitted for 100K and 50M with one pacer at a time and pacer identification required.
