The Folky Fish Run is scheduled for Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Maramec Spring Park in St. James, Missouri (21880 Maramec Spring Dr., Saint James, MO 65559). The event includes the following distances:
- 1 Mile
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
Listed entry fees on the event page are $35 for the 1 Mile, $40 for the 5K, $45 for the 10K, and $75 for the Half Marathon. The 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon fees increase after February 28, 2026. Registration for the 1 Mile ends May 29, 2026.
Logistics and race services
Pre-event packet pickup is on Friday, May 29, 2026, at St. James Winery Taproom, 551 State Rt. B, St. James, MO, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm; a photo ID is required and participants may pick up other athletes' packets. Parking is available around the park with signage and volunteer direction. On-course nutrition will include water and an electrolyte drink. Finish-line offerings include local vendors, tacos, margaritas, light snacks and drinks, and an awards ceremony.
Awards are planned for Top 3 overall male and female in the 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon, plus Top 2 age-group male and female awards for those distances in standard age brackets (0-19 through 80+). Cutoff times: 3.5 hours for the half marathon and 2 hours for the 1 Mile, 5K, and 10K; race management may remove participants who cannot meet cutoffs. The last day to register to guarantee a race shirt is May 6, 2026. There is no inclement weather makeup date and entries are nonrefundable. A charity partner will be announced.
