Fly to Pie - Kingdom Marathon
Fly to Pie is an autumn event in Vermont offering options to run, bike, or hike on dirt roads through the Northeast Kingdom. The 2026 edition takes place on Saturday, October 3, during peak fall foliage and finishes at Parker Pie in West Glover where pizza and a cash bar with Hill Farmstead beer are available.
Courses start at Lakeview Aviation at the NEK International Airport in Coventry for the longer routes and at the Irasburg Common for the 6 mile course. Support tables are placed roughly every three miles on each route and provide water and GatorAde. Shuttle service back to the start is provided by Jay Peak.
The event is hosted by Kingdom Games together with Lakeview Aviation and Parker Pie. A portion of entry fees is donated to the Halo Foundation; the organizer commits 20 percent of all fees to financial support for Orleans County families dealing with cancer. Prizes include items such as Brault’s Beef Jerky and Couture’s Maple Syrup. A team challenge for groups of three to ten counts the fastest three times in each division and awards the Big Pizza Pie Trophy to the winning team.
