Flutter for the Fight 5K, Nottingham PA
The Flutter for the Fight 5K is a running event set for September 27, 2026 in Nottingham, Pennsylvania. The event is presented by the Paige Michael Foundation and is organized in memory of Paige, who was diagnosed at 15 with a rare and aggressive form of leukemia. The event distance is 5K and all participants receive a finisher's medal.
Proceeds from the event will support the foundation's mission to assist teens with cancer and to give back to local communities. The foundation has donated gift cards to patients at Nemours Children’s Hospital, supported families who have lost a child to cancer, and offered scholarships to cheerleaders and dancers at Oxford Area High School, Oxford Center for Dance, and Cecil Dance Theatre. The funds raised will be used to continue these types of activities and to demonstrate what #LiveLikePaige means to the organizers.
Awards are presented to the top three male and top three female finishers overall and in the following age groups: 9 and under; 10 to 14; 15 to 19; 20 to 29; 30 to 39; 40 to 49; 50 to 59; 60 to 69; and 70 and over. Registration opens June 1, 2026 and closes on September 27, 2026. The registration fee is $35. Race T shirts are available for $10 when purchased at registration; shirt orders must be placed by August 31, 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
