27th Annual Flutie 5K for Autism presented by Eastern Bank
The Flutie 5K for Autism is an annual charity running event held in Natick, Massachusetts. The event supports the autism community across New England and involves multiple charity partners. It offers a mix of in-person and virtual options, including competitive and untimed entries.
Distances and event options include:
- 5K Run (timed)
- 5K Roll for wheelchairs, handcycles, and duo teams
- 1.5-mile Walk (untimed, unscored)
- Chirichella Adaptive Division 5K (competitive division with scholarship prize money for the top three male and female finishers)
- Kids' Fun Run 100 m for children aged 10 and under
- Virtual 5K Your Way with mailed shirts and bibs
Registration for most in-person events opens on May 19 and closes on July 12; fees vary by event. The Kids' Fun Run has a separate fee. The virtual option has a later closing date and a separate fee. Awards are given to top finishers in the 5K Run and age-group winners are recognized. Walkers are asked to select the 1.5-mile walk option if they do not wish to compete in the full 5K. Organizers provide registration and accommodation support for participants using wheelchairs or handcycles. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
