The Flusslauf Trail Run & Hike takes place on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at the Hemlock Creek Picnic Area within the Bedford Reservation in Walton Hills, Ohio.

Course & Features

The main event is described as a 7-mile (or 11-kilometer) run, ruck, or hike through the Bedford Reservation. A notable feature of the course is a river crossing that is reported to be about 20 inches deep, getting participants' knees wet, and occurs twice along the route. Event Atmosphere & Perks

The event includes live music from a German band and a Biergarten. Participants in the running events receive runner socks or a hat, a finisher medal, a commemorative Bierglas, and post-race refreshments. The race is chip-timed, and there are overall and age group awards. A Fest Entry ticket provides access to the live music, one beer ticket, and a Bierglas.
