About the race
Flusslauf Trail Run & Hike is a festival-style trail event at Hemlock Creek Picnic Area in Bedford Reservation, Walton Hills, OH 44146. The event features trail running, rucking, and short run or hike options together with a biergarten and live German music.

The 7-mile route includes a river crossing at approximately mile 3.5. Staff and volunteers will be present to direct participants at the crossing. The water depth is described at about 20 inches and can reach knee height; the crossing is encountered twice on the longer route. The 1-mile events do not include the river crossing.
Participant items and event features include a custom hat, finisher medal, bierglas memento, chip timing for the race, overall and age-group awards, live music, post-race brats with meat and vegetarian options, and other refreshments. A portion of proceeds benefits Bike Cleveland. Fest Entry admits attendees to the biergarten and includes one bier ticket and a bierglas.
