Flinders Running Festival : event overview
The Flinders Running Festival takes place on 1 March 2026 at Cook St Park, Flinders. The program includes a twilight event, a finish-line party with a DJ and local artists, and on-site bar and food. Every finisher receives a medal. Event capacity is limited to 1,000 entries.

Race details, entries and facilities
The course is an out-and-back route with ocean views. Dogs, bikes, scooters and rollerblades are not allowed on course. The 10 km has a cut-off time of 1.5 hours. The kids race is not timed; parents may run alongside without a second entry.
Each competitor receives a disposable timing device built into their race bib. Bibs can be collected at specified times at the event or posted for an extra $10 (bulk mail-out approx two weeks before the event). Online entries close Friday 27 February 2026 at 6pm; limited late entries are available at the race venue. Awards are given to 1st–3rd male and female in each age category for 5 km and 10 km (U15, U18, 18-34, 35-59, 60+). Facilities include bike parking, public and portable toilets, clothing bag drop, drink stations about every 2.5 km and St John First Aid at the finish and on course.
