Flete 10K and Family Fun Run
Flete 10K and Family Fun Run is organised by The Rotary Club of Ivybridge and takes place on 12 Sep 2026 at the Flete Estate. The event includes three separate races that use estate tracks, riverside footpaths and shaded woodland sections following the River Erme, with a short rise up to Holbeton village before looping back to the start at Holbeton Cricket Club.
Distances
- 10K multiple terrain route around the estate and riverside (age 15+)
- 5K shorter routed course around the estate and paths (age 9+; 9 to 11 must be accompanied)
- 1K one or two laps of the fenced cricket pitch, open to all ages and requiring supervision for young children
The 10K is licensed by England Athletics and race officials will record times. Water stations are provided along the route. Finishers of the 10K receive a T shirt; 5K and 1K finishers receive medals. Headphones and in ear devices are not permitted except bone conduction devices, with disqualification for breaches under England Athletics rules.
On site facilities include parking, the cricket pavilion as race HQ and a safe place for lost children, refreshments for purchase, sponsor information tents and portable toilets. Medical and rescue cover will be present and medical information is collected in line with licence and GDPR requirements. Entries are accepted online up to the closing date and on the day, but T shirts or medals may not be guaranteed for late entries. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
