Flatrock Running Event

The Flatrock event takes place in Dacula, Georgia, at Harbins Park. The event features three distances: the 50K, the Half Marathon (13.1 miles), and the 50/50 Challenge.

Course Details

The 50K race consists of two 13.2-mile loops and one 5.2-mile loop. The half marathon is one loop. The course uses non-technical, undulating single-track trails that wind through trees. The hills are described as short, taking a minute or two to climb. All races begin at the same time and place.

The 50/50 Challenge

This option allows a runner who completes the 50K to continue for an additional 20 miles to attempt a 50-mile finish. The entire 50 miles must be completed within the 50K's strict 9-hour cutoff. If the challenge is not completed, the runner receives no credit for either distance. Successful challengers receive a special shirt and a free entry for the following year.

Event Information

Registration for the event is capped to maintain a smaller size. The event is described as spectator-friendly, with aid stations accessible to family and crew. A playground is available at the park. All entrants receive a commemorative race item. Top three male and female finishers in each race receive special recognition and a free entry for the next year. Race credit refunds and bib transfers are allowed under specified conditions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
