Flatrock, Georgia
Flatrock takes place on October 17, 2026 in Dacula, Georgia, at 2995 Luke Edwards Rd (Harbins Park). The event features multiple trail race options and is organized as a point-to-point looped trail event that begins and ends at the same location.
Distances offered:
- 50K
- Half marathon (about 13.1 miles)
- 50/50 Challenge (attempt 50 miles after finishing the 50K)
The course follows undulating singletrack through wooded terrain. Trails are described as non-technical with short climbs that generally take a minute or two to ascend. Runners follow marked pink and blue loops and encounter a single main aid station roughly every 6 to 7 miles.
Cutoffs are posted for each distance: the 50K and the 50/50 Challenge use a 9 hour cutoff and the half marathon uses a 5 hour cutoff. The 50/50 Challenge requires runners to complete the full 50 miles within the 9 hour cutoff; entrants who do not meet the rule receive no credit for either distance. Organizers note the 50/50 Challenge has been rarely completed to date and that runners may have the option to drop to the 50K before attempting the extra mileage.
The event is capped in size and has sold out in recent years. Registration closes October 10, 2026. All entrants receive a race item; 50/50 finishers receive a challenge shirt.
