Fit-Fun-Free 5k Run & Meeting
The Fit-Fun-Free event is scheduled for November 3, 2025, in Peachtree City, Georgia, at the Midwest Food Bank, 220 Parkade Court. The event is presented by the Peachtree City Running Club and hosted by Midwest Food Bank - Georgia. The running portion is a casual 5k group run on local paths; it is not a race and there is no timing or awards.
The evening includes a club meeting and a discussion with a special guest who is a professional ultra trail runner. Attendees are asked to bring jars of peanut butter to donate to the food bank. Food will be available for purchase, and water and Gatorade will be provided. Runners are asked to wear headlamps and bright or reflective clothing because the run will take place after dark. Registration is free.

The guest is a professional ultra trail runner sponsored by Altra Running, Coros Global, Drymax Socks, and Hyperlyte Liquid Performance. The runner moved from local trail races in 2023 to national events in 2024 and 2025, winning the Bandera 50k and the Way to Cool 50k in 2025. The runner placed second at the Canyons Endurance Run/UTMB 100k to qualify for the Western States 100, and finished 8th overall at Western States 100 in June 2025.
