Fisherman's Point 5k, Hoyt Lakes, MN

The 30th annual Fisherman's Point 5k is scheduled for July 24, 2027, with the course beginning and ending at the Hoyt Lakes Arena. The route follows a paved trail and road along the shoreline of Whitewater Lake. The event is held the same weekend as the 72nd annual Hoyt Lakes Water Carnival.

Online registration will be available beginning in March 2027, and registration by July 10, 2027 guarantees a race shirt size while supplies last. Early on-site registration and packet pickup are available the day before the race, and on-site registration is offered on race day.

Fees are tiered by date: prior to July 17, 2027 the 5k fee is $25; after July 17 the 5k fee is $30. The kids fun run is free. Proceeds support the Hoyt Lakes Water Carnival.

Awards are given to overall male and female finishers and to the top three runners in each age class for both men and women. Age classes are 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and over. Finishing ribbons are provided for all fun run participants.
