Event overview
The 11th Annual Springs Run 7.2K takes place on Saturday, February 7, 2026, in Gainesville, FL. The event starts and finishes at First Magnitude Brewing Co., 1220 SE Veitch Street, Gainesville 32601. The program includes a main 7.2K race and a 1-mile fun run around Depot Park returning to First Magnitude. The 7.2K course runs down the Hawthorne Trail and back to First Magnitude. After the races there is a festival with live local music, beer releases, artists and vendors.

Registration, kit, and eligibility
The 7.2K entry fee is listed as $35 (discounted from $60) and the 1-mile fun run fee is $10. The 7.2K is open to ages 10 to 110. Registration prices increase on specified dates for each event. Packet pick-up and shirt distribution are scheduled at First Magnitude Brewing Co. on Thursday, February 5 and Friday, February 6, 2026, from 4-8 pm.
What registration includes and charity
All 7.2K registrants receive a free First Magnitude beer or a non-alcohol option for those under 21. The first 500 7.2K registrants receive a commemorative 2026 pint glass. T-shirts are available by preorder only until January 21, 2026, for an additional donation to the Florida Springs Institute. Profits from the event benefit the Florida Springs Institute and its SpringsWatch citizen science program.
Prizes
The top three finishers in each listed age and gender group receive an exclusive First Magnitude mug, a free pint card, and other First Magnitude items. Age groups are 15-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, 55-64, and 65+. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
