Event details
The 11th Annual Springs Run 7.2K takes place on Saturday, February 7, 2026, in Gainesville, Florida. The event start and finish are at First Magnitude Brewing Co., 1220 SE Veitch Street, Gainesville, FL 32601. The main course runs down the Hawthorne Trail and returns to First Magnitude. Profits from the event benefit the Florida Springs Institute and its SpringsWatch citizen science program.

The 7.2K entry price is listed as $35 (previously $60) and is open to ages 10 to 110; the price increases after December 31, 2025. The Fun Run 1 Miler entry price is listed as $10; its price increases after February 6, 2026. All 7.2K registrants receive a free First Magnitude beer or an N/A option for those under 21. The first 500 7.2K registered runners will receive a commemorative 2026 pint glass. T-shirts are available for an additional donation to the Florida Springs Institute and must be preordered by January 21, 2026. Prizes are awarded to the top three finishers in each age and gender group; age groups are 15-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, 55-64, and 65+. Packet pick-up and shirt distribution are scheduled at First Magnitude Brewing Co. the week of the race; further details will be sent via email.
