5k Beer Run x Firetrucker
The Firetrucker Run is an untimed fun run organized by the Iowa Brewery Running Series. The event takes place in Ankeny, Iowa, and is designed for participants to run, walk, or jog at their own pace. The course is approximately 5 km long and follows a route on the High Trestle Trail, starting and finishing at Firetrucker Brewery.
Participants must navigate an open course, meaning the route utilizes public roads and pathways where traffic laws must be followed. The event is open to all ages and fitness levels. Because the course is untimed, there is no formal competition or qualification required to join.
The registration provides several amenities to participants upon completion of the course:

Each registered finisher receives one craft beverage from the brewery. For participants under 21 years of age, a non-alcoholic option is provided. All participants must present a valid ID to consume alcoholic beverages. Additionally, registration includes a choice of a collector's pint glass or a piece of swag from the Brewery Running Series.
The event site features additional activities such as live music, games, and food trucks when available. A portion of the proceeds from the registration fees is donated to local nonprofit organizations. The run takes place rain or shine, and because of the brewery's capacity, registration is limited.
