FireTower 5K
The FireTower 5K is a community running and walking event scheduled for August 22, 2026. It is the second annual edition, organized by HFM Prevention Council in partnership with Oak Mountain to raise funds for youth programming in Hamilton County and to increase awareness of underage substance use and misuse.
The event is based at the Speculator Pavilion and Ball Field. The program includes a timed 5K run, a 2 Mile walk, and a kid's run. Racers will follow a road course while walkers will use a nearby trail system.
Registration is free with a suggested donation of $25; participants under 14 may participate without charge. Donations collected will support youth programming in Hamilton County.
