Firehawk 5k & 1 Mile
Hosted by the UT Southern Cross Country program, the Firehawk 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run returns for its fourth annual edition in Pulaski. The event is open to runners and walkers, with proceeds supporting the UT Southern Men’s and Women’s Cross Country and Track & Field programs. The race is located at the UT Southern East Campus on East College St.
Participants can choose from the following events:
- 5k Run
- 1 Mile
Awards for the 5k race are presented to the overall male and female winners, as well as overall masters male and female participants. Additionally, 1st through 3rd place awards are distributed across several age groups, starting from 0-14 and extending to 70 and over. All participants in the 1 Mile event receive finisher medals.
Registration includes a guaranteed T-shirt for all participants. Those who register after the early deadline may receive their shirt by mail following the event. The race provides an opportunity for local supporters and athletes to participate in a community sports event while contributing to collegiate athletic programs.
