The Firehawk 5k & 1 Mile is scheduled for Saturday, August 22, 2026, in Pulaski, Tennessee. The event is organized by the UT Southern Cross Country program and is the fourth annual running of this race. Profits from the event will go to the UT Southern Men’s and Women’s Cross Country and Track & Field programs.

Registration, shirts and awards
Registration for the events opens on February 18, 2026, and race day registration will be available. T-shirts are guaranteed for all registrants; participants who register after early registration may have shirts mailed after race day. The 5k awards include overall male and female, overall masters male and female, and 1st through 3rd in age groups. Age groups are: 0-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 & over.
