Firecracker Trek Tomball
Firecracker Trek Tomball is a trail running event held at Burroughs Park in Tomball, with start and finish near the park pavilion. The course is described as non-technical and suitable for new trail runners. Parking is available in the main parking lot.

The event includes an aid station with hydration and snacks, a fully marked and supported course, and volunteers on course. The organizers describe the route as scenic. All participants will receive a Firecracker Trek water bottle as their finisher medal.
Awards are planned for the 5K and the Kids' Mile with top three overall male and female finishers in each race. Additional recognitions include an old timer award and a dead last finisher award.
Registration details note a capacity limit and a deadline. Registration closes on Fri, Jul 3 at 11:59 PM CT or earlier if the 100 participant capacity is reached. There is no race day registration. The 5K and Kids' Mile have tiered pricing that increases on set dates: 5K opening $35, May 15 $40, June 15 $45; Kids' Mile opening $20, May 15 $25, June 15 $35.
