Firecracker RUN 406 - Whitefish, MT

Firecracker RUN 406 takes place on Saturday, July 4, 2026, in downtown Whitefish. The event is produced by the same management group that stages the Whitefish Marathon. The main distance is a 4.06 mile run/walk that starts and finishes on the west side of Depot Park by the O'Shaughnessy Center. A virtual option is offered in addition to the in-person event.

The Whitefish Arts Festival opens nearby on the same day, and the post-race finish area will include refreshments from Jeremiah Johnson Brewing and Tamarack mocktails. Podium and age group awards are presented immediately after the event. All finishers receive the official event shirt and medal.
