2026 Firecracker Fast 5K
The event is the 5K Firecracker Fast organized by Fleet Feet Little Rock, held on Saturday, July 4, 2026. The race is point-to-point, starting at 6150 Kavanaugh Boulevard in Little Rock, Arkansas, and finishing on the east side of War Memorial Stadium. The course runs along Kavanaugh Boulevard and passes by the Little Rock Zoo. The event has been held for 50 consecutive years.
Registration, logistics and awards
The listed registration price is $34.09 ($30.00 plus a $4.09 processing fee). Prices are inclusive of mandatory charges. There are no shuttles to the starting line before the race; shuttles are provided to return participants to the starting area after the race. Registration is nonrefundable; race management may cancel or modify the event and registration fees are not refundable in the event of cancellation due to Acts of God.
Awards include Firecracker trophies for the first 50 men and first 50 women finishers, overall and masters prizes, and age-division prizes. Overall male and female and masters winners receive a pair of Hoka shoes. Top three in each age group receive Fleet Feet Little Rock gift certificates ($25, $15, $10 for first through third). Medals are given to children 12 and under who complete the race. Commemorative race shirts are guaranteed for pre-registered participants.
