2026 Firecracker Fast 5K
The Firecracker Fast 5K is an established running event in Little Rock, Arkansas, held annually on Independence Day. Having taken place for 50 consecutive years, the race follows a point-to-point route through the city. The course begins at 6150 Kavanaugh Boulevard and winds through the heart of Little Rock, passing the Little Rock Zoo before concluding on the east side of War Memorial Stadium.

The event provides specific transportation arrangements for runners. While no shuttles are available to transport participants to the starting line before the race, shuttle services are provided to return runners to the start area following the completion of the event.
The race recognized several categories of finishers. Firecracker trophies are awarded to the first 50 men and first 50 women to cross the finish line. Overall and masters winners in both male and female categories receive footwear awards. Additionally, gift certificates are provided to the top three finishers in age groups ranging from 9 and under to 70 and over. Children 12 years old and under receive medals upon completion, and commemorative race shirts are guaranteed for those who pre-register.
