Firecracker 5K - The Woodlands, TX
The Firecracker 5K is a patriotic, chip-timed 5K held on July 2, 2026 along The Woodlands Waterway at 2099 Lake Robbins Dr, The Woodlands, TX 77380. The event is produced by The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department and is sanctioned by USA Track and Field.
The course winds through The Woodlands Waterway and is described as scenic. The race is recommended for participants ages 10 and older. Strollers are not permitted on the course per USATF sanction requirements.
Awards are provided for overall male and female and for first, second and third place in male and female age groups; awards will be distributed onsite and there will not be an awards ceremony. Registration has a fee of $50 and includes a participant t-shirt, finisher medal and participant packet. There will be no race day registration.
Refunds of 100 percent of the entry fee are available until June 11, 2026; processing fees are excluded and refunds may take up to three weeks. Entry fees are nontransferable from year to year; transfers must be completed by June 11, 2026 through the participant account system.
