33rd Annual Firecracker 5K - Sebring
The Firecracker 5K is held on July 4, 2027, at Highlands Hammock State Park in Sebring, Florida (5931 Hammock rd, Sebring, FL 33872). The event is the 33rd edition of the annual 5K race.
The race raises funds in support of the Avon Park High School running program. Awards are presented on race day.
There are two entry options for the 3.1 Miles course: a 5K registration that includes a shirt and a 5K registration without a shirt. Registration opens on August 1, 2026, and closes on June 20, 2027. The registration fee for the shirt option is $30.00 and for the no-shirt option is $20.00. Shirts are guaranteed for participants who register by June 20, 2027.
Packet pickup and day-of registration are available on race day. The event takes place at Highlands Hammock State Park and follows the organizer's schedule for packet pickup, awards, and race operations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
