Location & Course
The event takes place at Kenosha Library Park in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The route is a closed, USATF-certified course that runs along Kenosha's lakefront harbor and historic district. There are three water stations on the course.
Registration & Fees
Registration opens on March 1, 2026. Prices start at $23, with the fee increasing in stages through June. A "last chance" in-person registration is available on June 27 for $48. There is no race day registration. Entry fees are non-refundable.
Timing & Awards
The 5k is chip-timed. The 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk is not timed. Awards are given for the 5k only, including trophies for the overall male and female winners and medals for the top three male and female finishers in various age groups. Awards are presented after the race.
Participant Information
Packet pick-up is available on Saturday, June 27 at the Kenosha YMCA, or on race day at the park. T-shirts and finisher medals are guaranteed for the first 600 entrants. Live results are posted online, and overall results are printed in the Kenosha News.
Event Guidelines
The race has several guidelines for participants. Runners aged 10 and under must be accompanied by a registered "Running Buddy." Bibs must be worn on the front. Baby strollers are allowed but must stay behind runners. Bicycles, roller-blades, skateboards, and dogs are not permitted. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
