Firecracker 5K: Galva
The Galva Recreation hosts the 13th annual Firecracker 5K Run/Walk to raise funds to assist Canton-Galva youth activities. The event is based at Lynn Baldwin Memorial Park, 100 Northview, in Galva, Kansas; the course stays within the city limits.
The 5K run/walk takes place on concrete and paved roads. The course is described as fast and flat and is stroller friendly. The event is presented as family friendly and intended for a range of ages.
Registration carries a fee of $25. Awards are given to the top male and top female overall finishers and to the top male and top female finisher in each age division.
