Delano 4th of July 5k

The Delano 4th of July 5k is scheduled for July 4, 2026 at Delano High School, 700 Elm Avenue East, Delano, MN. The course runs along the parade route of Delano's Fourth of July celebration and finishes near the event area.

Packet pickup is offered the day before at the Grandstand area in Central Park (650 River St) and on race day at the race start area. Light refreshments are provided after the race. The postrace area is close to the food court, carnival, and parade route.

Registration has tiered pricing with adult and youth entry categories that include a wheeler option. Early registration through June 4 includes a guaranteed shirt. Published entry fees are: adult $25 early, $30 mid, $35 late; youth $15 early, $20 mid, $25 late.

Awards include top three overall, age group awards for 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over, plus Best Dressed awards. A course map and past results from 2025 are listed with the event materials. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
