Firecracker 5k Race - Delano Fourth of July

The Firecracker 5k Race is a community road race held as part of the Delano Fourth of July celebration. The event distance is 5K. Participants may run, jog, or walk; a wheelchair start is included.

The course follows the celebration parade route. The start and finish are near Delano High School at the intersection of Tiger and Elm. The race uses certified chip timing.

Packet pickup is available at the Grandstand area at Central Park (650 River St) and at the race start area at the corner of Tiger and Elm. Light refreshments are provided after the race, and the race site is adjacent to the food court, carnival, and parade.
