Tri County Educational Foundation Firecracker 5K - 14th Annual
This event takes place on June 27, 2026, with check-in and race activity at the DeWitt Community Center, 200 North Cherry, DeWitt, NE 68341.

- 5K Run/Walk
Race day registration is available. Registration opened March 1. Where pricing applies, shown amounts include mandatory charges, items, and fees. Published registration fees and windows include the following examples: the 1 Mile fee is listed as $15.00 plus processing and taxes (total shown $18.37) for Mar 1 – Jun 26. The 5K fee is listed as $25.00 plus processing and taxes (total shown $29.32) for Mar 1 – Jun 15, and $30.00 plus processing and taxes (total shown $34.80) for Jun 15 – Jun 25.
Registering by June 15 secures a race T-shirt; additional shirts will be available on race day on a first-come first-serve basis for walk-up registrants. Families of three or more receive a $10 discount at checkout.
A community breakfast will be held at the Community Center with a free-will donation collected for the Fireworks Fund. The breakfast is sponsored by First State Bank Nebraska. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
