27th Annual Andrews Cadillac Firecracker 5K
The 27th edition of this event takes place in Brentwood, Tennessee, hosted by the Brentwood Family YMCA. The race features a certified, chip-timed road course that passes through scenic areas of the community. Participants have two distance options:
- 5K
- 1K (Kids Fun Run)
The 5K route starts at Andrews Cadillac and is open to participants of all ages. The course accommodates runners and walkers, and the event allows strollers and pets. All participants receive a race t-shirt and a finisher medal. Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as the top overall performers in the Masters (40+), Grand Masters (50+), and Senior Grand Masters (60+) categories.
The 1K Luken Kids Fun Run is specifically for children aged 12 and under. Following the races, there is a celebration featuring local vendors and various activities including a balloon artist, inflatables, snow cones, popcorn, face painting, and a guest appearance by Captain America.
