FIRECRACKER 5K, Ansonia

The FIRECRACKER 5K is the annual 5-kilometer road event organized by the Ansonia Fire Department on July 4, 2026. The event takes place in Ansonia, Ohio, with the meeting area at Ansonia Local Schools west parking lot near Ansonia High School, 600 Canal Street, Ansonia OH 45303.

Registration offers an early sign-up discount before June 21, and the listed entry fee is $25 with a price increase after June 21. There is no day-of-race registration. T-shirts are available for registrants who sign up by June 21, and a dry fit shirt option is offered.

Awards include medals for the top three finishers in every age category for both male and female divisions, top three male and top three female overall, and a first place team overall award. The course follows the same route used in previous years and runs along shaded country roads.
