Fire Tower Trail Half Marathon
The Fire Tower Trail Races take place on June 7, 2026 at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation in Cross River, NY. The event includes trail distances that pass the park summit where the historic fire tower is being reconstructed by the county parks department.

The half marathon circumnavigates park trails and reaches three overlooks named Spy Rock, Raven Rocks, and the Leatherman Overlook. Both the half marathon and the 10K pass the summit area and a number of rock features on the Rock Trail, including Raven Rocks, Castle Rock, Spy Rock, Bear Rock, Dancing Rock, and the Indian Rock Shelter.
