The 25K course includes approximately 6.5 miles of trail that can be technical, with roots, rocks, and narrow sections near the creek, plus about 9.6 miles of forest service road and improved dirt roads. Finishers who complete their event within the official cutoff time receive a finisher’s premium.
The organizer schedules semi-organized training runs in September and has a training run staged at the finish line in late September. The event is part of a series that qualifies runners for Distinguished Participant status when they complete five of seven specified 2Lowe Run Co events. Volunteers are needed to staff aid stations.
