OmegaXL Sport FIRE HERO 5K presented by Runner's Depot
The 21st annual OmegaXL Sport FIRE HERO 5K is a 3.1 mile run/walk along the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk with start and finish at Margaritaville in Hollywood, Florida (1111 N Ocean Drive, Hollywood FL 33019).
Online registration opens May 5, 2026 and closes July 15, 2026. Packet pick-up is available at Runner's Depot - Davie (2233 S. University Drive, Davie FL 33324) on Saturday, September 12, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Raceday packet pick-up and registration will be available if entries remain.
The event includes participant items and awards: an oversized race beach towel will be given to the first 1000 registered participants, quantities may be limited for race day registrants, and all finishers will receive a finisher medal. There are special awards for firefighters and fire departments and a special award for the largest team. Post-race activity includes a brunch on the beach.
Parking options listed for the event include the Margaritaville Parking Garage, the Garfield Street Parking Garage, and on side streets, and the organizer recommends arriving early and carpooling.
