OmegaXL Sport FIRE HERO 5K presented by Runner's Depot
The 21st Annual OmegaXL Sport FIRE HERO 5K is a community run and walk held on the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk in Hollywood, Florida. The event follows a flat, fast 3.1 mile course with the start and finish at Margaritaville. Organizers note parking is available at the Margaritaville Parking Garage, the Garfield Street Parking Garage, and along side streets, and they recommend arriving early and carpooling.
Race amenities and awards include an oversized race beach towel for the first 1,000 registered participants, a finisher medal for all finishers, special awards for firefighters and fire departments, and a special award for the largest team. Post race activities include a brunch on the beach.
Early packet pick up is available at Runner's Depot Davie on Saturday, September 12, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at 2233 S. University Drive, Davie FL 33324. Race day packet pick up and registration may be available per organizer instructions. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.
