Irish Life Fingal 10K, Swords, Co. Dublin
The Irish Life Fingal 10K is part of the Irish Life Dublin Race Series and takes place in Fingal, Swords, County Dublin. The route begins on Balheary Road outside Swords Village and finishes in Balheary Park. A route map is provided by the organisers.
Race numbers are posted approximately ten days before the event and include a chip timing device attached to the back. The timing chip must remain on the race number for results to be recorded; replacing a lost race number carries a fee of €10. The baggage label is printed at the bottom of the race number and may be used for items left in the baggage area, which is used at participants own risk. Participants are advised not to leave valuables in the baggage area. Pins are the recommended method to attach race numbers and some pins will be available at the start area.
Buggies are not permitted in the event for safety reasons. Pacers will be present in the start area with target finish times of 45, 50, 55 and 60 minutes. A new race tracker for 2026 will be listed closer to race day.
Parking details include two hours free parking in Pavilion Car Park and all day parking for €4 in Swords Plaza car park. At the finish each participant receives a race t-shirt and a goodie bag; the t-shirt cannot be replaced. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
