Fingal 10K
The Irish Life Fingal 10K is part of the Irish Life Dublin Race Series and takes place in Fingal, Swords, Co. Dublin. The route begins on Balheary Road outside Swords Village and finishes in Balheary Park. Directions to the start area are signposted and a route map is provided by the organisers.
Race numbers are posted about ten days before the event. Each race number includes a timing chip attached to the back that must remain on the number for an official time; no chip, no time. Replacing a race number costs €10. The bottom of the race number has a baggage label to attach to any bag left in the baggage area; baggage is deposited at the entrant’s own risk and valuables should not be left there. Pins to attach race numbers are recommended and some pins will be available at the start area. Use of buggies is not allowed for safety reasons.
Pacers will be present in the start area with target finish times of 45, 50, 55 and 60 minutes. Parking includes two hours free in Pavilion Car Park and all day parking for €4 in Swords Plaza car park. A new race tracker for 2026 will be announced closer to the event. At the finish, participants receive a race t-shirt and a goody bag; the t-shirt cannot be replaced. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
