Fingal 10K
The Fingal 10K is part of the Irish Life Dublin Race Series and takes place in Swords, Co Dublin on Sunday 12 July. The race uses chip timing; the chip is attached to the back of the race number and must remain in place for a recorded time.
Race numbers are posted about ten days before the event. Replacing a lost number costs €10. A baggage label is printed at the bottom of the race number and should be attached to any bag left in the baggage area. Baggage is deposited entirely at the owner’s risk and valuable items should not be left there. Pins are available at the start area for attaching race numbers.
Pushchairs and buggies are not permitted in the event for safety reasons. Directions to the start are signposted and race stewards will be on site to assist. Pacers will be present with target finish times of 45, 50, 55 and 60 minutes. A race tracker is provided for the event. There are two hours of free parking in Pavillions Car Park.
At the finish each participant receives a race t shirt and a goodie bag. The event notes that the t shirt cannot be replaced. Other races within the series include the Frank Duffy 10 Mile and the Dublin Half Marathon. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
