Fine Valentine Run and Relay - Tucson, AZ
Fine Valentine Run and Relay is a community race day held on February 14, 2027, at Gentle Ben's and the University of Arizona Main Gate/Centennial Hall area. Proceeds benefit the Ben's Bells project.
Event options include:
- 4 miles : two-person relay, each person runs 2 miles
- 4 miles : individual 4-mile race (two laps)
- 2 miles : untimed fitness walk/run (one lap)
- 1 mile : FitKidz mile for children 12 and under
Fees noted for event entries include $25 for main 4-mile events and relays (fee applies per person), $20 for the 2-mile walk/run, and free entry for the FitKidz mile. A separate Gentle Ben's brunch option is available for non-registered persons for $9.
Race day features a free post-race hot breakfast at Gentle Ben's for registered participants (the FitKidz mile does not include the breakfast), mimosa and Bloody Mary specials for purchase with the first mimosa or Bloody Mary free to SAR members, and optional race shirts available for purchase at packet pickup for $16 with on-site printing by a local vendor. The course includes University of Arizona stadium ramps. Special elements include a festive PDA relay exchange zone, a costume and PDA contest, and a Kind Cupid award with nominations and an awards ceremony.
