Event Overview
The Find Your Fire 5K and Freedom Fest is a multi-distance running event held in Suwanee, Georgia. The course begins in front of Suwanee City Hall and directs participants toward the Suwanee Greenway. This event serves as a Peachtree Road Race qualifier and supports the Find Your Fire Foundation, which provides aid to local nonprofits focused on childhood cancer research and assistance for families of fallen firefighters.
Participants have the following distance options:
- 3.1 Miles (5K)
- 1 Mile (Kids Fun Run)
The 3.1 Miles course features three designated stops where runners aged 21 and over are served 3-ounce craft beer samples. Those who complete the 5K receive a race t-shirt, a medal, a pint glass, and one full beer for adult participants at the finish line.
The 1 Mile Kids Fun Run is open to children ages 12 and under. Participants in this distance receive a race medal and a color-changing root beer mug filled with craft root beer.
The event includes a post-race festival known as Freedom Fest, located at StillFire Brewing. This gathering includes live music, food, and activities such as a dunk tank and a costume contest. Packet pick-up is available locally on the Friday preceding the race and on the morning of the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
