Event Details
The Fighting the Fight Within 5K (FFW) takes place on August 8, 2026. The event is held at Veterans Serving Veterans (VSV) Community Park at 3740 S. 41 Rd. in Cadillac, Michigan.
The event consists of two activities:
- A 5K timed run
- A 1-mile untimed tribute walk
The 5K run is professionally timed and is listed as part of the 2026 Traverse City Track Club Grand Prix Circuit. Awards are given for the overall top male and female finishers, as well as the top three in various age groups. Participants are encouraged to wear patriotic colors or clothing representing a military branch.
Additional Information
The organizing mission, as stated, is to support veterans. Funds raised will go toward veteran-focused programs, a transitional housing project, a scholarship, and an outreach center.
