Fiesta Half Marathon & 10K - Bakersfield
This event takes place at Yokuts Park in Bakersfield and combines several running and walking distances with music and cultural entertainment. The program includes a live banda and folklorico performances, Mexican food offerings such as tacos, aguas frescas, and pan dulce, and chip timing for race results.
Race amenities listed for participants include a dri fit shirt, finisher medal, and an extra medal as part of the Reyes Running Series. Age group awards are given for the 10K and the half marathon. Kids races feature trophy awards for the top three finishers. The event also offers cash prizes: $200 to the team with the most participants (kids in kids races excluded) and $200 to the top male and female overall in the half marathon. Half marathon participants receive a running hat and a water bottle.
