Event overview
The Field House Cancer Foundation 5k is an inaugural run and walk scheduled for May 31, 2026 at Clark Field, 320 Clark Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44113. The event includes two distances:
- 5K (chip timed)
- 1 Mile (not timed)
The event’s stated mission is to provide essential financial assistance to families with a member diagnosed with brain cancer or a brain cancer related condition. The published vision describes supporting families through uncertainty and promoting community-based assistance.
Registration, fees and race details
Registration closes on May 30, 2026. Pre-registration fees include a listed fee of $30 for the 5K race. Mailed entries are accepted; checks should be made payable to Hermes Sports and Events and mailed to 2425 W. 11th St., Suite 2, Cleveland, OH 44113. The event notes packet pick-up and on-site registration will be available on race day.
Awards will be given to the top male and top female overall in the 5K and to the top three finishers in each age group: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 & over. Participants receive a T-shirt, and post-race refreshments are provided. A course map and additional event information are published by the organizers.
