2025 Festival Foods Turkey Trot Marshfield
The Festival Foods Turkey Trot in Marshfield is a community running and walking event held on Thanksgiving Day at Marshfield High School. The event offers multiple participation options designed for different interests and fitness levels. Participants can choose between running and walking distances on established routes around the high school grounds and surrounding areas.
Available distances include:
- 5 Mile Run
- 2 Mile Fun Run
- 2 Mile Walk
- 2 Mile Dog Jog
The event utilizes a wave start system to organize different groups. The first wave is designated for 5 Mile runners, followed by 2 Mile fun runners, and then 2 Mile walkers. A specific "Dog Jog" wave concludes the starting sequence, where participants with dogs follow the 2 Mile course.
Participants receive a long sleeve shirt and a personal pumpkin pie upon completing their event. Bib and t-shirt pick-up takes place at the Marshfield High School Fieldhouse on the day before the race and on Thanksgiving morning. While the event is dog-friendly on the 2 Mile course, animals are not permitted inside the school buildings during packet pick-up or on race morning.
