Fernleigh 15
The Fernleigh 15 is a 15 km point-to-point running, walking and wheelchair event along the Fernleigh Track in Newcastle and Lake Macquarie. The course runs from Adamstown to Belmont and the Fernleigh Track is closed to the public for the duration of the event. Participants can purchase an optional bus ticket to return to the start after finishing.
On the same day there is the Fernleigh 1500, a 1500 m children’s race that starts and finishes in Belmont at the Fernleigh 15 finish area.

All finishers receive a commemorative medal. Prizes are awarded to the overall male and female winners only; age group medals are not presented. Dogs are not permitted on the course. Official results will be published on the Multisport Australia website and race photos will be available through Marathon Photos.
Entry details include open registration until the day before the event unless sold out; a late entry fee applies from two weeks before race day. Entries can be transferred to another person via the Crowdcatcher entry portal for a $10 transfer fee. Refunds are available on a sliding scale: 70% up to six weeks before the event, 40% from six weeks to 14 days before, and no refunds within 14 days of the event.
