Event Overview

The Feed Stokes 5K is a run and walk event taking place on Saturday, March 14, 2026, in King, North Carolina. This is the 16th annual event. All proceeds from the race are divided between the three food pantries throughout Stokes County.

Location and Parking

The event is held at Central Park. The parking and Veteran's Memorial entrance is at 302 Kirby Road. Participants are advised to use this specific address for directions.

Registration and Fees

Registration is available for adults and youth (18 and under). Fees vary:

  • Adult: $40 through January 1, $45 from January 1, and $50 from March 9 through race day.
  • Youth: $25 through race day.

Race day registration and packet pick-up will be available at Central Park near the finish line.

Packet Pickup

Packet pickup is offered at two times:

  • Friday, March 13 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stokes Family YMCA conference room (105 Moore Rd, King).
  • On race day at Central Park from 7:15 AM until 7:45 AM.

Event Details

Participants receive customized ear bands. Warm pancakes will be provided by the King Rotary Club. The 5K course holds a USATF certificate (NC18007BDS).

Awards

Awards are given for the 5K run/walk:

  • Top 3 overall male and female finishers.
  • Top 3 male and female finishers in standard age groups from 14 & under to 70 & over.

Team competitions have three categories: fastest participants, most participants, and largest food donation (awarding the "Master of Cans" trophy). Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
