FBI Jerry Dove Memorial 5K: Bridgeport, WV
The FBI Jerry Dove Memorial 5K is a memorial running event held in Bridgeport, West Virginia, at 3708 Jerry Dove Drive. The event honors Special Agent Jerry Dove, a native West Virginian who was killed in the line of duty in Miami, Florida, on April 11, 1986. It is dedicated to his memory and to law enforcement, firefighters, military personnel, and others who were killed while serving in the line of duty. The Federal Bureau of Investigation Citizens Academy Alumni Association sponsors the race.
The event program includes in-person and virtual options and a short youth dash. Registration opens May 11, 2026. Final details of the race will be official at opening day of registration and may change prior to that date.
