Father Jerry 5K

The Father Jerry 5K takes place on August 15, 2026 at Musgrove Park, 345 E Mack Ave, Olney, Illinois. The event includes a 5K race and a separate 1 Mile Fun Run. Historically the event has drawn about 200 to 300 participants annually.

Registered participants receive a one-of-a-kind 2025 FJ5K t-shirt, a race bib with chip timing for 5K runners, post race snacks and drinks, and post race awards for overall and age groups. Fun Run participants receive a finisher's medal. Awards are subject to eligibility rules; registrants who do not select a gender will be ineligible for awards.

Registration opens March 20, 2026. The general 5K registration fee is $30.00 and the Fun Run fee is $15.00. The first 125 Richland County youth registrants are free. The guaranteed t-shirt cutoff is July 26 at 11:59 PM. Early bird pricing changes after July 26. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
