Event Overview
The Fat Boy 5K takes place in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This event features a standard 5K run along with a 1 mile "Waddle." Participants can choose between various weight-based divisions or enter as a single runner.

Specialized Divisions
The event provides several categories based on weight for both individuals and teams. Mens divisions include Clydesdale (200+ lbs), Super Clydesdale (230+ lbs), and Ultra Clydesdale (260+ lbs). For women, the Athena division is available for those weighing over 180 lbs. A team competition is also held for groups with a collective weight of at least 650 lbs.
Awards and Recognition
Awards are presented to the top five finishers in five-year age groups. Specific awards are also distributed for each weight division, including the Athena, Clydesdale, Super Clydesdale, Ultra Clydesdale, and the Clydesdale Teams. Finisher awards are provided to the first 150 male and first 150 female participants to cross the line. Winners of the event receive chocolate bunnies.
Post-Race Activities
Participants are provided with pre-race refreshments including donuts and chocolate milk. Following the completion of the course, a variety of food and drinks are available, such as sausage po-boys, moon pies, and various beverages. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
