Event Overview

The Fastlane Autumn Edition is a running event offering three distances: 10 km, Half Marathon, and ¾ Marathon. It takes place along the Grand Canal and the perimeter of Grange Castle Business Park in West Dublin.

Course Details

The route is a flat loop course on a newly surfaced path. Each 10k loop has an elevation gain of 27 meters. The race starts in a green space along the Grand Canal near Clondalkin. The course design features long straight sections.

On-Site Services

A bag drop service is available at the start/finish area, open from 8:00 AM. Participants are provided one reusable label from their race number and are asked to bring a plastic bag for weather protection. Toilets are located at the start, finish, and on the route. Water stations are positioned at 5 km, 10.5 km, and 15 km (for the longer distances), serving water in reusable cups.

Pacers will be present for the Half Marathon, targeting finish times of 1:30, 1:45, 2:00, and 2:15. Medical services will be on site. At the finish line, participants receive a medal, water, and a banana.

Access and Parking

The event is easily reachable, located just off the M50. Public transport options include Dublin Bus routes L54 and C4, and the Clondalkin Fonthill Train Station, all within a short walk. Official parking is available at The Mill shopping centre in Clondalkin Village and the Clondalkin/Fonthill Train Station Park and Ride. Bike parking is provided near the start/finish area.
