Fast Track Trail Race takes place at George Wyth State Park near Waterloo, IA. The event offers two distances and uses well maintained dirt single track that runs through woods, prairie, and lakefront sections. The course is mostly smooth and runnable with some grassy and open segments and gentle rollers; there are no major climbs noted.

Distances:

• 13K single loop on runnable dirt single track
• 25K two loops for additional pacing and endurance

Support on course is limited. Aid is available at the start/finish area and at the beginning of the second loop for 25K runners. Provided items include water, electrolyte options, and some fuel choices; runners are advised to carry personal hydration and nutrition as on-course support is minimal.

Race amenities include professional race photos, event bibs for 2026, race swag, handcrafted awards, and food and drinks at the finish area near Canfield Shelter. The event emphasizes an easy-to-navigate trail experience appropriate for runners who prefer a flowing, rhythmic trail surface rather than technical terrain.
