Fast Track Trail Race - Sep 26, 2026
Fast Track Trail Race is held at George Wyth State Park in Waterloo, Iowa, near 3659 Wyth Rd. The event offers two trail distances on maintained dirt single track through woods, prairie and lakefront sections. This will be the fifth running of the race in 2026.
Distances available:
- 13K single-loop course
- 25K two-loop course
The course is described as fast and flowing with mostly smooth surfaces and some grassy or open segments. Terrain includes gentle rollers and no major climbs. The two-loop format for the 25K gives runners a repeat of the route for pacing and strategy.
On-course support is limited. Aid station locations include the start and finish area and the beginning of the second loop for 25K runners. Water, electrolyte drinks, and some fuel options are provided, and runners are encouraged to carry personal hydration and nutrition.
Event services include professional race photos, race swag, handcrafted awards, 2026 race bibs, and post-race food and drinks near Canfield Shelter, with Casey's breakfast pizza listed among offerings.
