Fast Track Trail Race
The Fast Track Trail Race takes place on September 26, 2026 at George Wyth State Park near Waterloo, Iowa. The event offers runnable single track through woods, prairie, and lakefront sections on maintained dirt trails.
Distances:
- 13K single loop on runnable dirt single track.
- 25K two-loop course offering pacing and endurance challenge.
The course is primarily smooth dirt single track with some grassy and open segments and gentle rollers; the route has no major climbs. The setting includes wooded trails, prairie areas, and lakefront sections suitable for steady efforts.
On-course support is limited. Aid station locations are at the start/finish area and at the beginning of the second loop for 25K participants. Water, electrolyte, and fuel options are available at those stations; participants should plan for personal hydration and nutrition needs.
Race services and amenities noted for the event include professional race photos, event swag, handcrafted awards, 2026 race bibs, and food and drinks at the finish area near Canfield Shelter, including Casey’s breakfast pizza.
