Fast and Furry - Winnipeg, April 26, 2026
Fast and Furry is the seventh annual edition presented by Manitoba Hydro, held at Assiniboine Park, Pavilion Crescent, Winnipeg, MB, Canada. The event offers both in-person and virtual options for participants to run or walk with a dog.
Participants receive an event shirt, a custom race bib, a bandana for the dog, a finisher medal for the participant and a matching pet tag medal. Post-event refreshments are provided for people by Oh Donuts and dog treats are provided by Trail Dog Treats. Organizers encourage support for K9 Advocacy Manitoba.

- 10 km run/walk in person and virtual
- 5 km run/walk in person and virtual
Known logistics include package pick-up on April 24 and participant check-in on April 26. Virtual entrants can choose in person package pick-up or have their package shipped.
Pet safety information is emphasized: bring only well socialized dogs, pack poop bags and water, harnesses are encouraged, watch for signs of stress, keep space between dogs, and always ask another owner before allowing dogs to meet.
