About the race
The FASN 5K Run 2026 is a community road race in Dundalk raising funds for the Family Addiction Support Network. The event is a chipped and timed 5K on a road-based course that begins on the pedestrian walkway beside Friary School on Anne Street, Dundalk, with the start and finish located approximately 200 m apart.
Registration for the event opens on race morning at Dominican Friary Hall, Anne Street, Dundalk, A91 XW2T. The first 100 people to register will receive a free event T-shirt, with sizes subject to availability. All participants receive a finisher’s medal.
Funds raised at the event will support FASN services, including maintaining a helpline, facilitating peer-led family support groups, providing one-to-one advocacy and crisis intervention, and expanding outreach to families affected by substance misuse. The event is dated Sunday 11th October 2026 and is organised to direct proceeds to those specific support activities.
