Farm Life 5k Trail Run
The Farm Life 5k Trail Run takes place at the Bonneville County Fair in Idaho Falls, ID on August 1. The event includes a 5k trail run and a free Grit League kids obstacle course set up at the fair.
The 5k course runs around corrals, horse barns, fields, and other fairground areas and is described as flat. Multiple water stations are available along the route. All finishers receive a finishers award and a coupon for a free breakfast at the fair. A portion of each race entry will be donated to the Bonneville County Fairboard for the 4H Program. Early registration costs $10 until June 30; registration after July 1 costs $15.
The free Grit League obstacle course is a looped kid's course available during the fair week. Children may run as many laps as they like and parents are welcome to accompany them. Volunteers will staff the course so children aged 4 and older may be left in volunteer care while their guardian participates in the 5k.
