Family Weekend Run, Walk & Roll 5K
The Family Weekend Run, Walk & Roll 5K is an inclusive community event at the Old Main Building and University of Arizona Mall in Tucson on October 4, 2026. Students and families are invited to participate; the event welcomes participants of different ages and abilities.
Proceeds support University of Arizona students through the Arizona Foundation with a focus on scholarships and basic needs initiatives. The event is managed by StartLine Racing and is organized as a timed 5K with results and photos available online or via a mobile app.
Available distances and participation options:
- 5K Run/Walk
- Kids Dash, half mile, untimed, parents may accompany children
- Virtual Run with shirt and medal, shipping restricted to US addresses
Participants receive a custom finisher medal and a Dri-Fit tech t-shirt with an option to decline the shirt for a small discount. Male and female age group awards are given to the top three finishers for race day participants. Pre- and post-race refreshments include granola bars, fruit, water, and sports drink.
Race logistics note that packet pickup is available the day before during the football tailgate and on race day at the University of Arizona Mall. Wheelchairs, strollers, and wagons are welcome. No roller blades, skateboards, motorized devices, or bag check are permitted.
