Family Weekend Run, Walk & Roll 5K
The Family Weekend Run, Walk & Roll 5K is a community event on the University of Arizona campus at the Old Main Building in Tucson on October 4, 2026. The event invites students and families to walk, run, or roll a measured course around campus. Proceeds support an Arizona Foundation Scholarship for University of Arizona students.

- 5K Run/Walk
- Kids Dash (half mile, untimed)
- Virtual Run (shirt and medal shipped; US addresses only)
Registered participants receive a custom finisher medal and a custom Dri-Fit tech shirt, with an option to decline the shirt for a $5 discount. Male and female age-group awards are given to the top three in each listed age group for race-day participants. The event is chip timed with real-time results and photos available online and via a mobile app.
Packet pick-up is available the day before during a campus tailgate and on race day at the University of Arizona Mall. Race day procedures note that wheelchairs, strollers, and wagons are welcome; roller blades, skateboards, and motorized devices are not allowed. Leashed pets are permitted. There is no bag check due to the shared start and finish area. No refunds are allowed; virtual participation is offered as an alternative.
